Data Analyst (Product / Operations)

We are looking for a Data Analyst who will work at the intersection of product, operations, and business, helping teams make data-driven decisions, build transparent analytics, and identify growth opportunities for the service.

What you will do

Data & Analytics
• Confidently write complex SQL queries and optimize them for MPP architectures (GreenPlum / PostgreSQL).
• Build analytical pipelines end-to-end: from data extraction and transformation to result interpretation and actionable insights.
• Solve applied analytical tasks, including:
— hypothesis validation,
— building product and operational metrics,
— user segmentation,
— funnel, retention, and behavioral analysis.

BI & Visualization
• Work with BI tools, particularly Yandex DataLens, and analyze dashboards for product and operational teams.
• Use Atlas to prepare and interpret key metrics for HQ (Retention, Trips, Efficiency, Funnel, Pricing).
• Prepare data in a clean, readable format and present insights clearly to stakeholders.

Experimental & Product Thinking
• Identify cases where classical A/B testing is not applicable and propose alternative evaluation methods (quasi-experiments, cohort analysis, before/after analysis, synthetic control groups).
• Clearly communicate analytical results and recommendations to diverse audiences: HQ, local market teams, developers, and operations or fleet managers.

What we expect
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Solid understanding of product and operational analytics.
• Ability to go beyond metrics and explain what is happening, why it is happening, and what actions should be taken.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
