Overview

We are looking for a Business Segment Manager for grades 7-11 who will be responsible for the first sales direction. The product line of the segment is represented by 3 formats of classes (webinar courses, lessons in mini-groups and 1:1 classes), with a focus on preparation for OGE / EGE. The main KPIs will be growth in first sales, revenue and profitability. We plan to actively work with the audience of teenagers, including through the promotion of the personal brand of our teachers.

What you will do

  • Be responsible for metrics, the main ones being the number of buyers, financial metrics, and profitability.
  • Form a product development strategy and a backlog of hypotheses through regular research of the target audience and competitors.
  • Implement strategy and hypotheses through management of cross-functional teams (marketing, product, sales, support, academy).

Requirements

  • Experience in a business/product role in EdTech / large B2C product (experience in a product sold through a personal brand will be a huge plus).
  • Mandatory experience in multiple sales growth.
  • Ability to calculate and work with metrics, a deep understanding of unit economics, and the skill to calculate economics for launching new projects. Ideally - a full calculation of P&L + cohort analysis.
  • Love for analytics, ability to read graphs and draw conclusions.
  • Knowledge of marketing channels.
  • Experience in user research: you understand why it is important to regularly study customer needs and know how to do it (custdevs, focus groups, A/B, etc.).
  • Skills in managing a cross-functional team: the ability to set goals, negotiate and control the results of a project team in which employees do not report to you.
