Senior System Engineer

What you will do

• Support and develop services ensuring operation of Kaspersky Lab products
• Build and develop automation for service maintenance
• Implement system monitoring and reporting on system status
• Diagnose and resolve failures, improve system reliability and availability
• Ensure uninterrupted service operation, data safety, and recovery after failures
• Design and develop information systems considering security, availability, and fault tolerance

Requirements

• Experience administering Linux and Windows systems
• Experience with automation tools and scripting for routine tasks
• Understanding of network organization, firewalls, and TCP/IP stack
• Experience building system monitoring and reporting
• Experience diagnosing and fixing failures, improving system reliability
• Ability to write and read documentation for supported services and systems
• English: Sufficient for reading technical literature and correspondence

Nice to have

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (docker/kubernetes), dockerfiles/helm charts
• Experience configuring and diagnosing Java microservices
• Ansible, MS TFS/Azure DevOps, Jenkins
• Nginx, HAProxy
• SCOM, Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics, InfluxDB
• ELK stack (ElasticSearch/LogStash/Kibana)
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, Bash
• MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis
• HashiCorp products (Vault, Terraform)
• Active Directory, DNS, PKI
